It also seems reasonable to me that were I to switch decks at Diamond 5 (and were the matching truly random) that I would be able to receive the same opponent deck that I had been facing prior to my revision at least once. What does happen, (and I, and countless others have repeated this behavior reliably) is that should you switch decks to improve your favorable matchups, That doesn’t really happen as much as one expects it might. Were this a purely random system, it stands to reason that you would see the odd deck (particularly in Wild) that defies the usual lineup. I conducted a small experiment over the past three months at Diamond 10/5, and what I found is that you really only get three to four class matchups with almost no anomalies. What I am certain of is that whatever else it may be, it is terrible. Team 5 has claimed for years that the matching system is random.
